Artist, producer, and songwriter Maya Wagner is cutting through the noise with expressions of her queer identity and experiences with mental illness in her carefully-crafted, bedroom-made tracks.

Her debut EP, Closeted, released on June 25th, 2021, and has been a hit among the LGBTQ community. Its title track captures the often overlooked experience of being out as queer, but loving someone who can't be.

Alongside the EP, heart-wrenching single "i miss her body" expresses the challenges Maya has faced in eating disorder recovery.

Apart from her own artistry, Maya is an active music producer, producting music for the likes of Emily Horton, MØNA, and Ella Allice, and she enjoys sharing her music-tech knowledge for her ever-growing TikTok and Instagram audiences.

Maya is a recipient of The Kennedy Center's VSA International Young Soloist's Award and three-time prizewinner of Berklee College of Music's Songs for Social Change competition.
